Its a pretty ring. I'm sure she gets a discount on QVC items.

@Effie54   Yes, Amy said she got her QVC discount on the ring.  Plus, she got it on Gem Day when the ring price was lower than it's current $1,500 price.  Her final cost was probably considerably lower.

Re: Amy Stran's New Diamond Ring

It is another sales tactic. That is all it is. If sales for the diamonique rings she wore played out. Why not a pricey ring.

Just beautiful! Gold and bling! Does it get any better?

From what I have seen of Amy's proclivity towards high end brand recognition, this ring is a definite departure. I2 diamonds and all....hmm.🙃 Wait. It's sold at QVC.🤥

I am not a fan of yellow diamonds, especially ones this tiny.

@faeriemoon   Yes, Amy brought that up.  She said she doesn't mind mixing her metals.

Thanks, @Caaareful Shopper .  It wouldn't bother me either; not that I would have chosen this particular ring.  However, if she loves it that's all that matters.

The ring was definitely not her size. I don't believe it.

Wow, what criticism about a girl who just likes big bling!  Probably she cannot afford the big diamond of her dreams. I, too, would enjoy wearing this yellow diamond ring--it has an awesome finger presence for the carat weight, and usually rounds and baguettes together give off a great sparkle.

If I would have worked at QVC in the past, much of my salary might have gone to buying all the pretty gold jewelry that was so prevalent then!  Of course, I bought anyway, even without an employee discount, and I have a great collection.

IMO, the clarity is not quite as much of an issue for smaller diamond stones, as they are not really that valuable, and are usually sold in lots, not as individual stones. In the past smaller yellow stones were always worth less than white ones, but that does not stop them from being just as pretty.

Oh yes, I did happen to buy a QVC yellow/multi diamond ring two months ago--J417819--which is why I sadly have to pass on Amy's new ring, as my budget will not stretch that far!  I hope she wears it in good health, and enjoys it every day!

QVC, and Amy a job well done.  Your response is exactly what they want you to believe.

As for criticism I suppose it’s how you define it.
