Am I being too picky about packaging?

Hey Ladies, maybe I'm being too picky put Qvc jewelry packaging really grinds my gears. I have ordered jewelry for years especially at Christmas for gifts. It used to arrive in black velvet boxes or velvet pouches.I hate the cheaper cheesy looking cardboard things arrive in now. I ordered 3 different black spinel rings for my 3 daughters and I just ordered decent looking ring boxes from Ebay to present them in. Three boxes 4.99 free shipping and they are black velvet boxes purchased in U.S. I guess with all the complaints ppl are voicing about selection I think Qvc could at least once again package it in a way that makes you proud to give the item as received. The total for these 3 rings were right at 400.00. Isn't it always the Q that has preached to us all these years PRESENTATION, PRESENTATION,PRESENTATION. Ok I feel better now Smiley Happy
