Allergic reaction to 14k

OK, for the first time in my life, I am having an allergic reaction to a piece of 14K gold (bracelet). I first noticed it a couple of weeks ago (red, peeling), but I thought it was from something else.

Now today, all day, I've had a red welt on my wrist. I can practically see the pattern from the bracelet.

I usually wear items made in Italy (nickel-free by law), or from Eternagold, also nickel-free, so this is a new experience for me.

I need someone to tell me it's probably just the one item. {#emotions_dlg.crying}
