Well, they cancelled my Eternagold bangle that I've been waiting on , so, I can kiss that good bye. Guess I'll wait till the Jan show. Grinch, stole my bangle LOL

I agree; I can't wait for the fun stuff to come back - fashion, jewelry and cosmetics. At least this week there are a few Judith Ripka and Honora shows.

kivah has a point regarding QVC of years past; how the price of gold has been driven up is a bit depressing. And I loathe gold-clad and resin pieces (and the OroNuovo bangle I tried last year was really disappointing). But there is a very delicate EternaGold bangle I really think I'm going to have to get. And some earrings - I really think new gold earrings will chase away the winter blues.

I'd also be interested in purchasing an EG bangle in white gold, but so far I only see one as part of an A/D offer.

28th Annual California Gold Rush is a three-day event:

California Gold Rush was 24 hours last year, although QVC originally scheduled it for 21 hours and later changed it. I am surprised no one has remarked that this is the first time in 28 years that QVC will air California Gold Rush on January 23rd instead of the 24th, with a 2 hour California Gold Rush Encore on the 24th. It appears tat QVC's new policy as of 2014 is that whenever California Gold Rush, Big Bonanza Silver Day, Klondike Gold Rush or Creede Silver Strike land on a weekend, the bulk of the hours will air the previous Thursday or Friday and an encore show will air on the actual day of the event, at Midnight of which the prices expire.

This is the first time that the all-day event will kick off an hour early at 11pm ET since Rick Domeier did the honors in 2000. It is the largest California Gold Rush ever and I've listed the history of the event's scheduling below:

Jan. 24, 1988-1999 24 hours

2000 25 hours

2001- 2010 24 hours

2011 & 2012 13 hours

2013 15 hours

2014 24 hours

Jan. 23, 2015 25 hours and Jan. 24 a 2 hour Encore

The TSV on KGR in 2014 was a Byzantine so it's interesting to see how they're using the Byzantine in another new way, thank you Vickie.

I wish QVC would bring back the beautiful Murano Glass earrings and necklaces in 14k again. I always check the inventory but all they have these days is those clunky single beads for bracelets...and many of them.
