They seem sturdy enough. I would go and try the bangles on. They seem to run small to me and I have kind of a smallish wrist

I love them. I bought my first set on Super Saturday and have since bought 4 more. It's a great company with a great cause. And I love that they are adjustable. I have a 5 inch wrist and I can squeeze them enough to fit just right.
