I have several Alex and Ani bracelets. Okay, maybe more than, 'several'. They are priced appropriately for gift giving and all of the one's I own are gifts. What is everyone's thoughts on these bracelets? Is it time for their reitrement? I feel once they hit the Q, the market is saturated and the novelty has worn off?

The only time QVC has sold the A and A bracelets is during a fund raiser in the Hamptons they sell a copy

Hmmm. So the one's featured on their homepage today is for a fundraiser?

Sorry i did not see that, unfortunately they have gone mass market and the quality and packaging has gone down hill

If you go into an Alex and Ani store you will see they have several different price points. I have given several as gifts and they cost about $75. I do not know what QVC is selling. Maybe they are made for QVC, and not sold elsewhere.

some look like the same designs and prices, if they are tweaked to sell here hard to tell from the pictures.

Actually, it never was my style, and still isn't.

Not a fan of any of QVC's choices.    Dupes sold at Kohls and JCP.

Re: VRe: Alex and Ani? Trend?

I fell into the trap a few years ago but most of my bracelets were gifts.  I still wear a few of them but basically they are junk.  My "gold" bracelets have turned very coppery and I have followed directions on how to take care of them.  I would NEVER buy one.

I did have a bunch and enjoyed them at first but then they started to look worn and dull.  Last year I removed them.  I got tired of them so I imagine the world has too.  I think they are on a downward trend and maybe that's why they are selling on QVC.
