so it is snowing here.... lots of it. i have asked him to remove his shoes when he enters the house so he will not track snow, water, mud across our carpeted floor and in the kitchen. we have a 10 month old who crawls, walks. she also uses a pacifier which she drops and likes to place back into her mouth.
he refuses to remove his shoes when entering the house. he also does a poor job of wiping his feet when entering the house also. yesterday i mopped the kitchen floor and he tracked dirty snow all across it. needless to say we had a major argument about his refusing to remove his shoes and tracking dirt across the floor where our baby crawls.
am i nuts? what am i missing here? i cannot believe he is being belligerent about being dirty? ((there are other examples of him not picking up after himself, leaving pens where the baby can grab them, etc-- but i want to focus on the snow mud first.))
