Advanced Order question

Hi. I was under the impression qvc does not charge you until they send the item out. I ordered something to be sent out in May. Qvc charged my debit card for the amount. Will they refund me? I am ticked. Now I have to keep track of this to make sure I get it back. What has been your experience with AO? Thanks.
