Azcowgirl - WOW! Welcome to the Super Nova Naja group. Yes, a number of sistas can call this beauty their own. I am so glad you like it. Loved your description. This is how your jewelry should make you feel. Will you display it somewhere in one of your rooms? I remember that you draped some of your pieces over house plants?! I thought what a cool idea. Some people use shadow boxes on their wall. I rotate my necklaces and pendants over my lampshades in our bedroom. DH just shakes his head, but he is a designer so he understands. Congratulations and enjoy wearing it on your braided leather cord. Head band - go for it! Thanks for sharing.

I received my two "red coral" pieces a few days ago and I have been "playing" with combos ever since. The naja is wonderful - it's not a super large piece but it has a LOT of pop and stands out. The red coral really glistens in sunlight.
I am still debating about the cluster ring. I own the older, big, bold Kingman cluster piece and am spoiled in terms of silver presence and size. Well, this is not as big and bold. It is very similar, same mold I think, as the SB ring that was introduced last year. I have a large hand (and large wrist) and therefore love bolder pieces. But I am getting used to the size and will probably keep it because I do not own much red coral. I paired the ring with the magnetic leather necklace/bracelet from last year. It came with inserts of coral and turquoise beads.
Thinking out loud - I will possibly put myself on waitlist for the single strand red coral. I like the single strand because it could be layered with native beads. Love the silver with beads. So many possibilities. Anyway I am a happy camper here in Virginia!

I need that emoticon with the throbbing hearts for eyes ( Q still doesn't give IPAD user any) because that super nova Naja is a stunner.I know Jug has it, I don't remember who else has it, but my goodness, talk about SB turquoise. It is the perfect piece to showcase this beautiful stone. If the stones had matrix, it wouldn't look right IMHO. My favorite way to wear it is on a braided black leather cord, up close to the neck .....which looks great with the double Naja bracelet on a black leather strap. (I had to bend it ever so gently to make it curve to my wrist.) The super Naja was slightly bent out of shape, but I was able to straighten it out. It is not as heavy and beefy in the silver as I thought it was going to be. It would be more expensive , but I was comparing it to some of my other beefy silver pieces , I guess I wish the silver was a bit more substantial, but otherwise There's no way I'd part with it now. I clipped it on to the hat band of my hat that was on the dash board and stared at it the whole trip. I might just wear it like that too !! (:
Woohooo . . glad you're lovin' that super naja girl! I think the SB is spectacular, don't you? That thing looks good on anything you put it on, but I love it on a cord too . . especially for more casual occasions. I love how the top of the naja goes higher above the bail so it's kind of like a crown on your neckline . . so cool. Congrats!

Glad you love the red coral Haca - I'm a big lover and wearer of that delicious ""true red coral color"" - my favorite coral piece is the Cody Sanderson necklace and pendant - it is my main ""red"" piece and I pair everything else around that! Enjoy!!
On another note - how is the weather in Virginia? It has been over 100 degrees here in CA where I live for over a week - just miserable - I have to get out by 7 a.m. for my 4 mile walk I do everyday or it's just too hot! Hope it cools off soon here!

Cooking Lady, love your determination to walk every day. Well the weather here has been beautiful one day (80ies and a breeze going) but more often now we are getting the typical "dog days" with high 90ies and humidity to boot, so you can barely breathe. Summer is NOT my favorite season in Virginia. Do you have humity paired with the high temps in your part of CA?
Talking about getting up early: Just came back from an early trip to a rifle range - don't laugh - not for shooting but for certifying the property as Wildlife sanctuary (I am what's called an "ambassador"). 369 acres of mostly undististurbed land and with a natural lake, beautiful. There are only two lakes in Virginia that are not man made. Imagine that?! Anyway it was early and still on the cool side. We saw lots of turtles sunning themselves on logs - all lined up, too funny, deer walking around, one eagle overhead, and dragonflies as far as the eye could see. One of the range's board members is an environmental engineer and he wants to make sure that the property stays environmentally friendly.
I envy you your Cody Sanderson necklace. It is gorgeous. He has a plain star pendant one - do you own that one as well?

California most assuredly does NOT have humidity like the deep south. Or the Midwest. Or Texas. I recall New Jersey was pretty humid, too.

No - we don't have much humidity - thank goodness - can't stand that - used to live in Mpls. -but it actually is a little humid today - just got back - thanks for asking!
