A Huge Ripka Ring Disappointment J-272024

As some of you may already know I own several of Judith's yellow gold clad pieces. I love them all and I have never had a problem...until three days ago when I received her textured dmq ring J272024. When I received it I was in awe of the design and the beauty and classic look of this ring!

My heart has been smashed against a brick wall today! While waiting in line to pick up my boys from school...I was admiring this ring...and then something struck me! The area on the band for sizing...next to the one textured area, my rings gold clad is thinning and it appears that it is more silver in that area! I have no idea if this was a return? I couldn't tell from the packaging. ....back it goes!!!

As most of you know this ring is almost sold out and it bums me out because they do not have my size anymore! UGH! I may try rose gold if it is still available?
