Surely you are being facetious..?

What makes you think so?

I stated such simply because that seems more of a religious standard rather than a statute mandated by any legal system. In my naivete, I naturally assume that living in a country free to express oneself as one sees fit, it would seem unjust that one cannot wear their jewelry on their beings in the manner they see fit so long as it causes no outward harm to anyone.

It would be considered a felony to wear an heirloom piece stacked with another piece of jewelry on one's left hand? How about the right hand? There are many, of European stock, who wear their wedding rings/engagement rings on their right hands NOT their left. What happens if they choose to wear several rings on their left hand ring finger?

Legal restrictions on wearing this type of jewelry? Are we reverting to archaic idealism? I'm sure there are plenty of states that do have such backward reasoning, but this just appears to be one of those laws that was put into play during the founding of this nation and it was never amended for current times..if, it indeed, exists..

OMG--do you not have a sense of humor?
