A COUPLE NEW REVIEWS: GEMSTONE STACK RINGS, BUNNY, COUTURIER PIECE

J308772 - I bought these stack rings in the trillion-cut garnet & in the cushion-cut peridot. Love them both. Both have stones that are very very vibrant. The garnet is NOT orangey/brown & the peridot is not light or cloudy - true Granny Smith apple color. The tiny heart prongs are adorable & I love the tiny DMQ stones running down the sides & also the texturing. The possibilities for stacking w/ her other stacking rings are endless!

J308758 - the new "pink epoxy enamel bunny charm". Although this charm is cute & has wonderful real bunny detail (like the fur), I had to search hard for the "pink". The charm is all silver save for a tiny splotch of pink paint beneath the bunny's front paws. I don't know if this is supposed to be an Easter egg or what, but the term "pink epoxy enamel" is misleading. However, this is not a criticism of the charm, but rather of the name of the charm. The charm itself is adorable.

Couturier piece SB428 - This is the bracelet I received more than a month ago when I received the wrong brtacelet first, & so many of you kind Ripkanistas gave me great advice as to how to handle the situation. The "right" bracelet is beautiful, although I don't thoroughly understand some of the design elements. There are 2 stones each of MOP doublet, pink corundum/black MOP doublet, & hematite/blue quartz doublet. First let me say that the hematite/blue quartz doublet is not like the QVC version of all the new items from the last show. The QVC version is more of a navy blue; this version is more like a translucent gray. I really like the Q color version better, but I don't dislike the couturier color. The pink corundum/black MOP stone is like no color in the QVC version. It is a very unique color: like a raspberry color that has been grayed over. The colors in person are nothing like the picture on the website which shows a kind of red/white/blue combo. The real item is a lot more subtle. The part of the design I don't understand is the 18K gold heart prongs that appear on only 2 of the stones. From left to right, the gold heart prongs appear on the 3rd stone & also on the 5th stone. I was wondering why, if the gold was only going to be used on 2 out of the 6 stones, it wouldn't be used on a symmetrical placing; like the first & last stone, or the 2nd & 5th, or the 2 middle stones. This is not a criticism, but just a question. Overall I love the piece. Anyone else have it or have seen it? If so, I'd love to hear your opinion.

I'm putting these reviews also under June Reviews.
