Re: 32nd California Gold Rush -Jan. 24, 2020

Yes, I will probably not be able to resist watching some of the shows, as I love jewelry, and I have bought many fabulous items from QVC, but I am pausing on my purchasing!

I do not think I will see anything that I cannot live without...

I maxed out on the gold.  I got a killer bracelet.  All 17.5 grams of it.  I got J365844  The bold diamond cut chain bracelet.  I got the 7/1/4"  Sold chains soldered together. Solid end caps.  The picture doesn't do any justice to it.  It is gorgeous.  Last item of the show.

I'm surprised at the price per gram weight on most pieces.  Their sale prices don't reflect the sales of prior years.

I'm disappointed in the lack of rose gold.  I had been hoping to find something in rose that I wanted or liked.  Oh well.

There are other retailers that offer a lot of gold jewelry for less per gram.  If they can, you'd think Q could with its supposed huge buying power.

If you want gold jewelry for much less per gram, check out sarraf dotcom. I've never been disappointed in their products or customer service.

As others have mentioned on these Forums in the past, watch the prices. I purchased J363372 open heart earrings on recent free ship flash event for $109 on waitlist. They have now shipped. The current Sale Price for gold event is $120. Glad I went on waitlist and did not wait for this event. Sometimes I think if there is an item I am interested in, gold or not, I take a screen photo on my phone so I document the price I am willing to pay.

Regarding gold event, have seen a few item I am thinking about. Watching off and on.

In addtion to that killer bracelet (J365847)  I also ordered a very cute mini coin bracelet.  It's adorable.  They haven't shown it yet.   (J365762)  Charm bracelets with 50-Lira coins on it.  I got the 7 1/4"

I caught the tail end of the Gold One show this morning. Gold One - I guess this is something new?

Anyway, they were showing a beautiful bangle for well under $300. I thought I was reading the price wrong ..... untill I saw that the gold is only 1kt. 1kt???

One gram of gold mixed with alloys and then gold plated. The prices are outrageous.

Per one garm gold.  The should be charging $10.95.  Ten bucks for the tiny gold.  The rest should cover the silver, copper, nickel mix.

Re: 32nd California Gold Rush -Jan. 24, 2020

I sold much of my gold back when gold prices exploded, I kept only a few very special pieces that I knew I couldn't replace.  And then I went into my silver phase.  Now I have all the silver jewelry I will ever want, I'd like to add a couple of gold pieces.  Like a big, bold ring or bold hoop earrings.  That's my quest for 2020, no hurry.  Perhaps I'll find something here today, perhaps not.  I'll be looking at all the shopping channels.

I'm buying.  I'm Italian and my gold is usually 18K.  I do have a lot of them.  Now I buy 14K because gold is high...but 18K is out of sight.  So I've purchased 2 bracelets (one of them is over 18 grams) and one ring.  One of my new bracelets is that adorable mini coin bracelet.

EDIT:  They showed my bird cage necklace!  I got that 8 months ago and they never showed it till now.  It's just terrific and so cute.  I get comments and compliments everytime I wear it.
