Thanks everyone.  i am getting the ripple gold 1 1/2 inch hoops.  I love the east west ring with the garnet, and i like the cuff with garnet too.  But i pulled out my Robert Manse chunky cuff with garnet and citrine and sold gold, and said nope, LOL.  I really think the gemstone cuff is way overpriced at $374 but maybe i am out of touch.  Anyways, it's earrings for me!

I solve that problem by not buying anything gold plated.

I've never had a gold clad piece last long. The gold wears off.
