14K gold stamp meaning

Just received item J289310...lovely ring. What is the meaning of the... AK 14K TURKEY-...stamped inside? Internet search provides 2 answers. AK is the factory name and AK means gold plated in Turkey. HELP!!!!!{#emotions_dlg.confused1}

Its the trademark of the manufacturer.

AK = Atasay Kuyumculuk

It's the mark of the company in Turkey that made your jewelry.

14K = 58.5% gold
