Not a fan of battery operated snow blowers. You might want to check them out with local retailers such as Home Depot or Lowes.

@Pooky1 I have a battery powered snowblower & I'm pleased with it. My driveway is really long & I hand shoved it until last year when I made the decision to buy it & treat myself. The snowblower I have works best with snowfall under 7" so if the snow total is going to exceed that I use it while the snow is falling. You can look at the Q, Snow Joe, Home Depot, Lowes & other retailers websites to find what snowblower will work best for you. Good Luck.

@Pooky1 Well we are very happy that you didn't go off your rocker. I can't help you with the battery snow thrower question.
My significant other is already fast asleep. He used to use the more typical type of snow blower fueled by gasoline.
I do know one thing he would tell you is make sure the maker has a good reputation and that the battery is a good one that takes and holds a decent charge.
With his electric drills, for instance, he always has a spare charger pack so he isn't delayed in finishing a job.
He is my "Jack of all Trades--and the Master of many of them"--a real life handy guy.
I'll ask him tomorrow and if he tells me something more useful about this I'll post it here for you.

I just ordered the Hybrid model of V35060 on amazon ...... it was $100 less than the Greenworks one mentioned and free shipping (another $25+ savings). The hybrid model is either electric OR battery. I thought that was worth the extra $25 more than the straight battery model of the same.
Won't be here until tomorrow and do not have any snow in the forecast yet to try it but I'm prepared!

I've gone to the snow scoop method and I love it. Mine is the Suncast Big Scoop and it makes snow removal much, much easier. I have a gas powered snow blower, but mine is really annoying in that it requires two different oils depending on the temperature and the cutoff for the change is 32 degrees. Seriously? Half the time the temp goes up after a snowstorm so before I can use the snow thrower I have to change the oil. Plus it tends to get clogged easily towards the bottom of the driveway where the road crews have used salt and the plows throw the slushy snow up to mix with the other snow. This heavy mix clogs the impellers and you have to stop it to clear the clog, only to have it clog again in a few minutes. Add in the hassles of turning and maneuvering it and it just lives in the shed these days. I can be out with my scoop and clear the snow in less time than it takes me to get the snow thrower out, fueled up and running.
The snow scoops are neat in that you more or less dance with the snow. You just slide the scoop into the snow until it's full, tilt it back, slide it over the snow to where you want to dump it, give it a push forward then jerk it back and the snow slides off where you want it, and you go back and repeat the process. There's no lifting and minimal exertion required once you get in the rhythm. It's literally like you're dancing with the snow and moving it at the same time. I'd like a taller handle on mine, like that on the Garant models out there, but my Big Scoop does the job nicely.
Snow scoops are how the Scandanavians (who get a lot of snow) handle their big snows. They'll use even bigger scoops than we have here, but they tend to get drier snow making the weight a bit less of an issue. You can Google "Using a snow scoop" for videos on them in use. They're pretty neat gadgets.

I have a Snow Joe snow thrower and it was in that price range. It works great! I purchased mine on QVC but Snow Joe had a good website with sales, etc.

I don't own a snow "blower" and I do not understand you problem.
