I got my last TV from a shopping channel. It was a "free delivery".......worth it for me because I can't get anything in my trunk, let alone wrestle with a package that big. All I had to do was slide it out of the box.....put it on the stand, and plug it in!

You can order from Walmart and they deliver. Having said that, my last TV was from Amazon because, yeah, they drop it off at the house. I can't wrestle it in the car. And their return policy is generous. AND free shipping. I am quite happy with it and would buy another. And they have sales.

I'm considering this LG TV because it's under four-hundred and free shipping. I have to replace one of those bulb-fronted TV's in the upstairs and get someone to carry it down. The good news is the new TV's are so light, I can move and install them. A big improvement and thank goodness the prices have dropped.

SAM's without a doubt. We took back two smaller tv's several years ago, both had stopped working. SAM's gave us two new televisions, no questions asked. We were told they were from a manufacturer who supplied them with defective TV's. We were making a warranty claim as they were not very old.

DH also took a computer back for repair, and instead of repairing it he was given a new one! That computer was a few years old.

Their return policies are, or were when we were buying things, very generous. It seems they really take care of the "club members." We never shop anywhere else.

I bought 2 TV's in Walmart and my 3D smart TV in Costco. Costco extends the manufacturer's warranty to 2 years. I personally don't like Best Buy - I find them overpriced on most items, but I don't tend to go there often. Do you have an HH Gregg near you? They have some pretty good deals. And also I sent a TV to my mom from ABT electronics online. Free shipping, white glove - AWESOME. I couldn't believe my luck with that company. They are based in Chicago but seem to be a very reputable company.

I brought my last TV from Amazon. I usually buy things online. I don't like a company selling me a lot of expensive accessories. I would buy at Sam's Club or Amazon.

Have you shopped your local small companies that sell TV's. I am all for small businesses and I have found their customer service to be great if you ever have a problem.
