Do you have a favorite wreath for the holidays for your front door?  I have a green flocked wreath for mine.

Funny you should bring this up...

For the past several years, except during Covid times, where I fell back on my artificial, pre-lit Bethlehem lights wreath, that I'm still using on my deck..

I'd treat myself to a beautiful, lush, artistically decorated and embellished wreath from a favorite local garden center. Only about 2 yrs ago they cost between $45-60 for about a 20" wreath.

I went yesterday to see what they had...was not impressed. Supposedly the owner retired last year from the retail operation, and sold it to her employees...so there have been changes. Anyway...the few wreaths they had on display were just meh, compared to the old ones that were, one prettier than the next, you couldn't decide. And they are now $100!

I walked away. I'll see my other fresh cut options around. I have so many decorations I can embellish my own wreath with.

Though I was sad to not get one there...they were always a treat for myself, and used to last, beautifully, until end of March.

I've seen better examples on their FB page, and maybe yesterday they just didn't have a lot made up...though they are having a huge weekend with Santa etc, so not sure why they wouldn't.

I'd try again, perhaps, but just can't see spending $100 on a wreath. Can't understand such a price hike in just 2 years.

Anyhoo...my Bethlehem Lights wreath is still going strong, and does look real. I also usually add some real greens and holly to it.

I have ribbon (I love ribbon) to embellish my wreath which is a very basic metal one with rhinestones.

Came down with a sinus inf and so the little project isn't even started...the ribbon is still on their spools!

I will finish it soon and post a picture!

I love wreaths and always put too many out. I got a new one this year online that turned out to be a battery operated lit and flocked. It's really simple and was a pretty good purchase, I think it was only around $35, for a 24". I bought a real Fraser fir wreath to hang inside since I use artificial trees; I like to smell them. A local church group was selling them as a fundraiser for the kids, $40 for a 28".

I have a Bethlehem Lights prelight (colored lights) that I've used the past 3 or 4 years. It's lasted longer than the prelit tree I purchased from them several years ago.

I have a faux twig one that has flocked pine branches, pine cones and red berries on it. It isn't that big, maybe 20 or so inches.  It is beautiful though and I have had this wreath for at least 20 years now and it still looks like new!  I bought it on HSN so long ago, it actually came in a two pack which I was able to hang both when I had my bigger home.

Now in my condo one does the job.  I love it and at this point I think it will outlive me, LOL!

I don't have a live tree, so every year I order a live wreath from LLBean. They are always so pretty , this year I got the one with the tartan bow and I'm hanging it today.

Used to have 2 Bethlehem lighted wreaths for the fronts doors.  They didn't last long and replaced with 2 lighted wreaths from Home Depot.  Getting tired of all the battery operated stuff.  Spent about $80 this year on batteries.  When the decor I have start breaking, I'll be shifting to non-battery operated decor.
