we are looking at stilestone ..............

For caps for our half walls in our entry and our kitchen. Does anyone have stilestone counter tops? Do you recommend them? We now have painted wood caps on them and the paint keeps getting nicked up because my DH throws everything like keys and money etc on them. I am very tired of repainting them so I'm looking for something more durable.
