Where do you put your Christmas tree?  In the window?  In a corner? somewhere else?

In our townhouse we really don't have many choices.  We have a good size window in the front of the unit but it's in the kitchen area and that's no place for a tree.  We actually put ours in the living room which is opposite the kitchen in the back of the unit so we have it in one of the windows by our slider door........of course no one outside sees it back there but it's the best spot for it.   oh well, we work with what we have.

Re: tree placement

[ Edited ]

Is your concern that the tree is off kilter a bit?  I think it's the angle of the photo.

But to answer your original question; this year we moved our main tree back to a location where it can be seen from more areas of the house.  For the past few years I had it in the window but unless you actually went into the room, you really couldn't see it.

The windows in our home are not really visible from the roads, unless you are in our driveway so we always put the tree near the patio doors. We have not put up a tree since my mom died so it no longer is an issue but I do put my manger and cardinal white birch up in front of the family room window...if that counts!

Ours is in the same spot every year.  It's in a corner of the living room but with the blinds open you can still see it lit up from the street.

We usually center our tree in the front living room window. We put it in a corner of the living room a few times.

Our house can't be seen from the road, and our living room faces the 18 acre pond we front on...so we put the tree in a corner by one of those windows. Maybe our neighbors across the pond can see the lights through the trees!
