rug cleaning

A few days ago I dropped a hot plate and it spilled meat juice onto the rug that we just had steam cleaned a few weeks ago. It is light tan so it really showed. My DH went to the auto parts store and brought home Resolve High Traffic spray foam cleaner. It got all that greasy dirt right off the rug and you can't even tell it was there. I highly recommend this product. I also used it to clean an upholstered valance and it did a great job there as well. It is tapestry so I was afraid to try to wash it but it had finger prints all over it and I had to do something. I sprayed it with the foam and let it sit a few min then wiped it off with a damp microfiber cloth. It also came out very nice, and didn't fade or anything. Just passing on the word about a very good product.
