Re: "Victorian Mod" Master Bath

It looks like a house and not a home.  At least that is the feeling I get when I look at it.  No warmth and doesn't look inviting or lived in.  Not my style.

Re: "Victorian Mod" Master Bath

When you look at the chimney from the "library" view, it doesn't look quite as menacing (LOL) as the view from the shower side.  The window opening over the vanity sink looks into that library space where it appears there is a narrow glass ceiling fronting the book case. Such an odd layout.

The access to the top of the chimney is interesting.  Probably to clean the ceiling glass?. I would like to watch how far side of that glass and the hanging fixture are reached for cleaning.

My favorite are the huge windows on the side.  Seems to busy to me but I think would look nicer with soft colors added.

I do think the house is stunning. It may not be my first choice to buy and live in but I am positive I would love to vacation there.

I love the outside! I dislike the bathroom. Too cold and sterile looking. I am not of fan of Victorian furnishings either, but I would definitely want the inside of my home to be more warm and inviting than this.

Love everything about it except for the "columns" on the ground level (1st pic).

I would need a whole lot of Campanelli microfiber dusters, and cancel any vacation plans.

I like it; and I like the incongruous design of the interior and exterior.

I just got to see the rest of the house.  (I can't see pictures after signing in without copying and pasting because of our antivirus).

When the outside and inside of a home doesn't have the comfortable "flow" of a similar style, it is said to be "out of balance".  This house is out of balance as is a prom gown and tennis shoes.

"Out of balance" is the perfect term for a house on my road. The outside is modern but when you walk in the door it looks like a log cabin complete with the taxidermy animals hanging on the walls. I always said the poor house was confused. I'm guessing that's why they couldn't get the $400,000 or so they were asking for.
