It looks like a room I could live in.  The artwork "works" for me.

 

My upholstered furniture is black velvet  (no pets or kids).

So the upside of this would have to be returning home from a hard day at work - Walking into that room and looking at that artwork.  

 

You would have to laugh.  Probably take away the bad day--But it's still not going in my house. 

I'll just have to keep looking at this post.
