It all looks so needlessly precarious, swinging (or just hanging) from the ceiling, eek.

 

I love lofts, and love treehouses.  Why not have an elevated room like this, but one that's structurally finished and a polished part of the overall loft or warehouse space it's located in.

 

Then finish with a stylish spiral staircase, like the one Lauren Bacall had in her fab apartment in "Dark Passage"...
