I like the room I had as a teenager better.  It suited me.  Taffeta pink spread with pink and white ruffles and pillow shams and a matching skirt for dressing table. A wallpaper border with roses. White scalloped shelf with a collection of small dolls dressed in gown type dresses, I especially remember white dress with shamrocks for St. Patricks, white with red hearts for Valentines Day, etc. White desk.  Bulletin board. Black dresser.  And of course a bookcase as a was a reader from the time I learned to read.  And it was always a mess with clothes laying every where.  I am so neat now I can't imagine I made such a mess.  Good memory,

BTW I agree with the poster who said this looks more like an older lady's room.

No ruffles, no frills, muted pink, no loud baby doll pink.

Good rug, nice bed, repurposed telephone table, use of quilt on headboard.
