Just felt the need of some warm weather breezes about now!   "Chatterbox"  is a 19th century renovated cottage, in Harbour Island, Bahamas.

Vintage, Forties'- looking rattan in the living room makes me think of Lauren Bacall, waiting for Bogie in some tropical getaway cottage...

Love the maps, and the mix of casual wovens like the lamp, and then the carved antiques...

More of my favorite maps, lustrous wood countertops, and quirky roofline give kitchen simple charm.

The bedrooms seem to be quite different from each other, which is a neat factor in a small cottage.

There's a rooftop deck.

And a sheltered patio as well.

I didn't realize right away that this historic little house is available to stay in.  Considering that, I think they've infused "Chatterbox" with a very spirited and inviting island style.

I like the outside space more than the inside space. But oh, wouldn't it be nice to be somewhere sunny right now, w/ nice breeze, view of the ocean, a great book and maybe an adult beverage.

I like everything except the living room decor.  I think a white siipcovered sofa with a very lightweight area rug and a white slipcovered chair, tasteful lamps and tables would be a better choice.  Now take me to the Bahamas.

Perfect for the Bahamas! You don't need much room inside as you're outside or on the beach most of the day!

Ohhhh this would be my forever home after I retire...a few updates with some of the furniture but otherwise...as someone else said "if only..." paradise

Not my color palette, but this cottage is as cute as a bug!!!

That cottage is so charming.  I would love to spend a week there.
