question about wall wax warmers

Do the small wall plug-in type wax warmers (not tabletop) make your walls discolored from the hot wax evaporating? Thanks

Re: question about wall wax warmers

No, I have light colored walls and have never had any wall discoloration. When they melt you only get the smell, not any soot that may be associated with a candle burn/wick. I have tried different manufacturers and they all worked just fine.

Re: question about wall wax warmers

No, I have several and they do not discolor the walls.

I quit using the electric plug ins with the scents I discovered that they spray an oil or 'something' that let residue on my wall!! Wax is all I use now.

No, but I haven't got a good scent throw because they only use 15w bulb.

Re: question about wall wax warmers

Sad story about these things. In my bedroom I don't have a plug that is visible so I moved things around a bit so I could uncover one to use the set my son bought me. Well it worked lovely and put out an amazing scent for a few days. Then the dang thing was bumped and all over the wall went the hot wax. I'm still trying to clean it all up. And as I rent, I'm NOT happy about this! I'm likely never gonna use the thing again now because its too much hassle and needs more care than I want to give it. Maybe it was just the wax I was using but it was very hard to clean out when the smell was gone.
