3 weeks ago I had to get a new W/D - my very old ones finally were unfixable. They are both front loaders and call for detergent with the HE on the container. About a month before I purchased the W/D I got a large container of detergent for my old machines - no HE on the container.
Can I still use the non-HE detergent in my new front loader, just use less? Or can't I use it at all in there? Why are we told to use HE in these new washing machines?
Money is tight for me and I'm tempted to just try the regular detergent, just use less, but I thought I'd ask you all first. I don't want to ruin my machine.
