Hello ... I'm turning to you all for help because I'm not sure what else to do. I have a relatively new dishwasher - about 3 years. For awhile I couldn't use it as it put water out of that little vertical standing water thing on the right side of the spicot. It would come out all over the counter and floor. I couldn't call a plumber because I didn't have the $.
Well, I called them and I needed a new garbage disposal (18 years old) which I got. Well, I then sent my dishwasher through a cleaning cycle, empty with one of those cleaner things. Ever since then my dishwasher does not get dishes clean like it used to. The cups are still slightly stained from tea or coffee, plates have some bumps of food on them, and utensils often look smeary. I now take a brush and practically scrub them myself before I put them in.
Any suggestions of what could be going on and what I can do about it?
Thanks much,
abby
