Re: persil laundry detergent

I have used Persil for about 10 years.  Before it was sold in US I had to special order it through the appliance store where I purchased my washer.  I have Miele machine and they recommend Persil.

I like it.  But I can't truly say it does a better job then other HD products.  Really have to use a lesser amount then recommended as with my small loads and water conserving machine rinsing doesn't remove all of detergent.

I haven't seen it in free and clear.  I know they have one for sensitivity in the ProClean line.  I use the ProClean Original (liquid) and the Pearls for Whites (powder).

Re: persil laundry detergent

I have tried Persil and it works wonderfully my whites are really white and I don't have to purchase an additional stain remover, it's kind of pricey but worth it.....Smells good too...

@Mom2Dogs,

Now I know this product is NOT "free & clear" as stated in the op. Thanks.  I think the op is incorrect in saying the name of this product as free and clear...it doesn't exist. Like I said earlier, the one I found was called Proclean.

Re: persil laundry detergent

I use & like the Persil Pro Clean liquid.  I think the Persil brand is owned by the German company Henckels, who also makes cutlery.

@SilleeMee, Persil detergent origininated in Germany.  It was so popular in Germany the Americans that lived in Germany and transferred back to the U. S. asked for it to come here because they liked it so much.

Persil can now be bought in the USA and Walmart is the place of launch.  Although now, you might be able to find in other stores.  (i.e.; CVS, Target, Fry's, Kroger, Sams, PriceChopper, Meijer, etc.

PERSIL

I have a bottle in front of me and it reads:  "The Dial Corporation, made in USA.  Woman LOL

Re: persil laundry detergent

Found this on Wiki, will be interesting to see if, going forward, the bottles have the Henkel name on them:

Henkel Corporation, formerly Dial Corporation, is an American company based in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a manufacturer of personal care and household cleaning products, and is a subsidiary of the German company Henkel AG & Co. KGaA (Henkel Consumer Goods Inc.).

Proclean is part of the Persil name...Persil Proclean

They have the original, 2 in 1, sensitive skin, powder form, etc.

I think the OP is probably talking about their Sensitive Skin formula which I have seen at Target.

Re: persil laundry detergent

Tried the liquid and the powder version, didn't see anything special about it.
