I have an old pewter candlestick that is very dark and dull. I remember trying to polish pewter years ago with no success at all but can't remember what product I was using. I don't want to waste my time and energy again, so I need some suggestions. yes i know, I'll be removing the "patina". but I would prefer it to be shiny rather than dull and dark like it is now.
