Have you seen the Luminara Grubby candles, very primitive for the country look. Do you think the Q will get them in?

I have two of the primitive grubby candles. I got them at a small shop in Ohio's Amish Country near Holmes county. They were pretty pricey, but I absolutely love them.

The one thing I noticed is that the flame flickers slower than on the traditional ones, and I wonder if that cinnamon looking "dust" that is on them is somehow messing with the inner workings.

Q is really missing a good thing by not having these. The store we were at had them in a dark brown like color and a lighter cream type color. That store sold out of them very quickly, and hasn't gotten them back in stock again. I' have to wonder if they are hard to get from the manufacturer.

I purchased one in a red grubby and I also noticed that the flame does not flicker as fast as my "plain" luminara's. Yes they are spendy but I love them. I had 2 that the batteries corroted (sp) and I had to throw them away, made me sick, so I make sure that they are always on the timer...........

Wow, I didn't know they came in red. I went to Luminara's website and saw that they carry 4 colors of those. I also noticed that they have free shipping on orders over $60, which is pretty easy to reach.

Thanks mominohio - today you can save 7%. I live in a log cabin with primitive decor. Colors are oatmeal, brown, burgandy, and ivory. I love Luminara and this are the best!

I haven't seen this one before. The ones I have seen/purchased are on the Luminara website. Is this actually the Luminara brand? Either way, I like it!
