I really liked your pictures.  Both homes look lovely to me.

Sometimes we don't get our dream home in life....I know I didn't. While we live in a rural addition of 50 houses and love our neighbors and the woods behind us, it was always my dream to have a little farmette.  DH just didn't share that dream.  I always wanted a little farmette in the country to raise my own veges, raise a cow for meat, and live off the land.  I would have a couple of big dogs and some cats, too and of course a barn.  Sigh....Oh, well....I think maybe in my next life it will be there!

@jubilantWhen we lived on a small farmette, we bought a few calves to  feed out and have our own beef for freezer and sell the others.  Well, over the months of feeding we loved them too much to eat the meat so we sold all of them and bought beef from someone else. lol

I think I could see that happening to me, too!  Maybe DH really does know best.  Ha!
