hi mallemo,
this is a heads up about continuing to use the modge podge.
even though i did not have problems with the choc/sage/copper ornaments lisa displayed, i see a little bit of glitter does come off.(i shook them well using a surgical glove to get most of the lose glitter of before i hung them on the Christmas tree, but my stand revolves so some glitter does fall and i did not want any glitter anywhere especially since i am asthmatic.
i used my modge podge on each ornaments wearing a surgical gloves, and using foam brushes. i lightly coated them and left no area bare.
i suspended them on a dowel usnig christmas tree hooks. they were easy to do.
they dried to a transparent shine in no time..... and now voila........no glitter at all, and they still look as bright and gorgeous as they did, before i added the modge podge to them.
it was a little time consuming but with the asthma i decided i do not want any glitter at all.
i am very happy with the end results, and i also used the modge podge on other glitter items too.
i do so love the glitter just want to set it in so there is no more glitter problems when handling items that are glittered.
