I love sparkly things - hate that it gets everywhere. My housekeeper is here today and she just said I was turnin g her sweeper sparkling . I swept up a lot of glitter off the floor yesterday but there is still a lot around.

We used to have carpet where the tree is located and it was difficult to get all the glitter but now that area is laminate so it is easier to clean it up.

@151949 I just hope that you are not ingesting that glitter. It can't be good for you or pets.

I wasn't planning to lick my floors or any other part of the house so I doubt ingesting glitter is an issue.

Why not? Licking your floors is the way to make sure they're thoroughly clean....Woman LOL

I have a love/hate relationship with glitter.

It seems just a few short years ago I had virtually nothing with glitter, and now it seems everything has it.

I am wondering if the 'glitter' obsession in holiday decor may fade away and in a few years there will be considerably fewer things raining sparkles all over the place!

My house is "glitter-free."  Don't even keep Christmas cards that are glittered...

I think the major glitter shedder in my decor is the VPH white porcelain sleigh I got last year. There was actually a puddle of glitter under it on the table this morning. I also have VPH's melting snowmen out on the lanai table - also major glitter shedders.

I don't like glitter.

You're still finding it at Easter!
