g;ass eggs from Valerie H247091

I received a set of two. Neither will close once you put the batteries in. Anyone else with the problem? Anyone with a solution? Thanks.

@oldasmud   I've had that problem with her stuff before and I just put a piece of tape over the closure.  The only problem is you have to keep putting new tape over it every time you change batteries.  I personally would send it back.  I don't buy her stuff anymore as I find too many problems.

Re: g;ass eggs from Valerie H247091

I buy a ton of battery operated items. In fact I've eliminated anything that plugs in. That being said, I often have battery cases that don't close all the way. Each time I realize that even though it seems batteries are seated in the case correctly, they are not. So I take them out, reinsert, move around, reposition, reposition again, press harder. Eventually I get to the point where they've clicked in correctly and the case will close.

I've come to thinking that there must be something fairly new and unperceceivable with the size or design of new batteries. They look the same but I think something must be slightly off. That's what's making it harder to install.

I'm talking about the AAA batteries and I usually buy Energizer.
