People don't know why some don't like the holidays. People suffer loss, grief, traumas, hunger, homelessness, etc, all year long, yes, even at Christmas. It's better to be compassionate and empathetic than push something like this in their faces.

@CalminHeart I agree, this was uncalled for. It is the prime example of toxic positivity. People feel what they feel and that is their right.

Wow, glad you're happy about things. Perhaps Santa will bring you some empathy for others for the holidays.

I didn't mean to offend. Some people get depressed during the holidays but it still is a wonderful time of the year.

As with most things there are two sides to the view. I'm the last surviving member of my immediate family, my husband has cousins but only 1 (sibling who lives in AZ). So we don't do a lot of celebrating for the holidays, I really don't look forward to the holidays. For many folks it is the saddest and/or loneliest time of the year. For those who love the holidays, I am happy for you and am glad that you enjoy being with family. But for those who have the blues during the holidays, I understand.

@peggyoh So you make 2 new posts back to back. Same picture but one titled "for those who LIKE the holidays" and the other "for those who DON'T like the holidays"

You delete the one with no responses and keep the one causing backlash. Seems like you are baiting and trolling to see what buttons you can push.
