Re: do you live here

Where does one cook in this kitchen? There is no cooktop and it looks like someone put a fence around the top of the fridge. If the black thing next to the white fridge or cabinet is a wall oven it most likely is not up to code. A wall oven has to be encased in a cabinet not just sitting on a countertop. I am not even sure the there is a sink. It's hard to tell from this picture. I don't think this is  real kitchen, I sure wish the OP would let us know where she found this picture. The title that she gave her post "do you live here" makes me think she is asking if anyone lives there.

It's the ambiance that I was attracted to  I found this on my Facebook web and I think it was from a cabinet design website but I can't find the picture again.  If it comes up again in the future I will tag it for you.

@ellybeth  Thank you so much for letting us know. It makes sense now why we don't see appliances.

Nope, don't live there and don't want to. We're all different but while it's not horrendous there's nothing here that I find particularly appealing.

I like it - Even though I'm not a fan of open shelving.

I'd just get rid of 90% of the plants and replace those chairs with some that were more comfortable.

This seems like a less well-equipped kitchen, as you might find in someone's summer home.

For starters, is there a stove?

I would have loved this when I lived in California.  It is very Southwest.  It is NOT DATED at all.  It is very contemporary.  I am a traditionalist but when I lived in California, even in Pasadena, San Bernardino or Watsonville, I could not have the traditional look that I could have in the east or southeast.  It's a beautiful kitchen for those who live in that area.

It seem a bit dark but maybe it's just the light.

Don't want open shelves, (need dusting)

Don't care for setting in those type of chairs.  But that's me.

If you like it, good.
