curly ribbons spokes

I want to make Valaries curly ribbon spokes  I went on amazon to get wide curling ribbon and nothing showed up  What do you think we could use   I dont want to pay 27 doollars plus 5.50 for shipping  It would be so easy to make

Perhaps go onto a website such as Hobby Lobby or Joann or Micheals and see what they might offer in the way of ribbon that has wire in it. That might put you in the direction that you are looking to go.

Miller Supply, Inc. ( on line store )  has beautiful cotton wide up to 1/2 inch curling ribbon that is really nice for making those ribbon spokes.

 

They also have the usual paper ribbon, but the cotton would last longer and is very classy looking.  It is not inexpensive though.

@mollymaggie  I agree. I thought they were appealing but not for that price.
