cordless vacuum 2 or 3 in 1 or separate

Hi,

Both my cordless hand vacuum and swiffer cordless vacuum, appear to be on their last legs. I have been researching and reading reviews on new ones  (including forum posts here, most of which are pretty old).  They have really changed a lot in the 10 years since I got the last ones, so many options and choices.  I am trying to decide if I want to get a 2 or 3 in 1 or just get one of each.  We are in the desert,  have two dogs and hardwood floors, so it is used mainly for dust, sand and pet fur. I hate having to drag out and use our heavy duty vacuum that often.  I like the convenience of the cordless, since I use it every day or at the very least every other day.  I was intrigued by the Shark tsv, until I started reading reviews that it does not work well for dust and sand on hardwood floors, which is a bummer because it is a good price, but not if it won't work.  I guess a lightweight corded model would not be too bad, no batteries to charge.   I would love some feedback from those of you that have either cordless or corded light weight vacuums. Specifically,  Do you have a two in one, how does it work for dust, sand and pet fur on hardwood floors?  Would you get it again?  Is it better to have them as separate units.  Any information will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I highly recommend the electrolux ergorapido with the lithium battery.

Hi Reba055,

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond.  I will have to look it up this afternoon when I get home.
