We live in a small condo with an open floor plan. Currently the walls are ivory, curtains are icy blue and rods are nickel. I'm thinking of warming things up with a tuscan color tone. Anyone have any ideas? Our last house had walls of green, yellow and beige. In the end it was a negative for sale.

There is a great APP out and this is how it works.
You take a picture of your living space that you want to paint.
Then you go to this APP this site...All the major paint companies are listed with them and every color of paint under the rainbow. You upload your living space that you want to paint and click on a color. It then shows you exactly what your room would look like in that color. Your exact space...I think this is brillant!
I am sorry, I don't remember the exact APP Name, but do check around for it. I was just telling my husband last night about it. We too have plans to paint our inside of our home and I am definately going to check this out first.

I would warm things up with colorful pictures, pillows and an area rug.

I would stay with light color walls and use the Tuscan colors in curtains, rods, pictures, pillows and accessories. Easier to change those items than to repaint once you have put
dark colors on the walls. My humble opinion.

Before we put our last house on the market it needed painted as it hadn't been for about 10 years. I had the entire place painted ivory. The painter told me that was his most popular color choice - probably 90% of the homes he paints choose ivory. The people who bought the house were thrilled with it and that they did not have to paint for a while as the whole house was neutral, and they had purple furniture. Yes, i said purple furniture.

I would ditch the curtains and replace them with draperies close to or darker than the wall color which would be darker than beige. I just checked pinterest for "Tuscan Living Rooms" and found information on creating a tuscan faux paint technique, which I love!!! There are many color combinations on that pinterest page as well as a color palette--beautiful!

Houzz dot com is a great website for decorating, accesories and just general info about home decor, they have lots of photos.WARNING: It is very addictive though, one time I was on there for 2 hours and didn't realize it had been that long!!!!!!!Great website though!

Thank you for all the replies. The paint APP sounds amazing. When we downsized 2 years ago we suddenly found we had too much wall ar and decor. Some went to Salvation Army but apparently wes till have too much. Living room has a large picture of irises. And DH bought a large dark brown faux leather couch. It is actually too large for the area. A loveseat would be better but he's not giving it up.

See the below pictures for some great colors. I would do a light, warm sand on the walls and accent with wrought iron and the other colors. Or do the color of the hay in the sunset for the walls if the space is open and airy as not to close it in too much. A dark color on the walls will shrink the room and feel heavy. I just Googled Tuscany village/home and got tons of authentic inspiration.

This one is more an American take on the decor, but still a good color pallet for inspiration.
