Re: biocleaner and the shower enclosure

@Mominohio this is the first time I've used it that wasn't a good result. Here at camp we have black appliances  and the stove had gotten stuff on it I could not get off - so I tried the biocleaner and off it came.That stove is back to brand new and shiny looking.

Barkeepers Friend. The liquid.

I have not tried the powder in there, but I always keep that on hand too.

@Mom2Dogs

I have posted in the forums two times about the THREE types of Barkeepers Friend that are sold.  You can find at least two of them and probably all three at Bed, Bath & Beyond.  I have all three, and I seldom use them, because they CAN be harmful in certain cases.

There is powdered BKF, liquid  BKF with a citric acid base and liquid  BKF with an oxalic acid base.  Not all are safe for all types of surfaces.

Read package directions thoroughly.  Consult the company's website for more information about their products.  BKF does have a website that you can find via Google.

Re: biocleaner and the shower enclosure

I just picked up some CLR at the grocery store and came home and cleaned up the mess the biocleaner had left in the shower with hte CLR. WHEW.  I'll never again  use anything else - this is my tried and true for the shower here.

At our home in Florida where we have very soft water - I get away with just spraying the shower witrh basin tub and tile and then rinsing, I don't even need to scrub.
