Tried it today and the results were mediocre - very poor on soap scum, had to scrub very hard and even then it did not get it all. I ended up going back over it with my tried and true - though messy - CLR and a magic eraser. I do not recommend biocleaner for this application.I had just finished showering and I am covered with sweat from having to work so hard to get it clean.

I've never tried Biocleaner but I love Barkeepers Friend. There's something in it that cuts scum and hard water yukkies. It's cheap and available everywhere.

I was just in the BR and opened the shower door to look at it - OMG there is that white chalky residue everywhere. I had to get in the shower and close the door and respray everything again to try to rinse it away. Take my word for it and don't try biocleaner in the shower.

You must try Barkeepers. Once rinsed away, there's never a residue or grit. I swear by this stuff. When I first saw it at the store I thought oh it's just another Ajax or Comet...no way!

I was reading on a web site about a liquid bar keepers friend...they said it worked really well....I have looked high and low for the liquid version but I cannot seem to locate it anywhere!

I use Barkeepers on occasion but I don't find it easily rinsable and do have to rinse twice to get the film completely off. Same with Bon Ami.

@151949 Do you keep a squeegee in the shower? I use it every time after I am done showering and it does help a lot with keeping the soap scum to a minimum.

I'm gonna stick to my old tried & true CLR and a magic eraser.

That Bio Cleaner film doesn't just rinse off anything. They even used to state in the presentations that you need to wipe or wash the surface to get the film off.
I do agree, though, about just average results in the shower, with the Bio Cleaner. We have fiberglass tub units, and iron in the water. In all fairness, nothing really does an excellent job in there, but the Bio Cleaner does about as good as anything else.
I love my Bio Cleaner, just isn't the most effective in my shower/tubs.

Clean your shower door really well and then apply a coat of RAIN X to the door. Just like RainX puts a clear coating on your car window shield to repel, water it will do the same for your shower door. Makes cleaning it easier. Re-apply frequently.
