baby formula on carpet

One of my precious grandsons spit up on my carpet. I've tried both a large Bissell dirtlifter machine and the smaller spotlifter. In addition, I've scrubbed by hand with various spray cleaners and nothing is working. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
