HSN had their stupid Dribbling Doorbusters today, to keep you panting to see what other piece of junk they were going to try to get rid of from their inventory at the top of each hour. The only thing I was interested in was a microfiber alternative down comforter for $19 and change. I always read the negative reviews to see if there is anything significant that might make me not want to purchase it, or if the majority of them are just people who have to write 5 paragraphs as to why it wasn't shipped fast enough to them.
The second negative review gave me pause. The lady sent it back because she said there were little bugs all over it. At first I thought she meant she got one that someone had washed and returned and it was pilling. But I read further and she meant BUGS as in INSECTS! She said she packed it up and shipped it back (and fumigated your place later, huh, lady?) Made my skin crawl. Needless to say, I passed on the comforter.

@Kachina624 ... I'm a grammar queen myself. In this instance, with bugs/insects in a brand new comforter, I would have to say yucky and icky are two perfect words to describe it!!!! ....and I'll add .... Eeeks!!!!

Yep - even spell checked them, blame Google. And, I might add, they are both adjectives listed in the online Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Hmmmmm............since the Q and HSN now have the same parent company..............who is to blame now?

@grammarqueen Wow, you never know where these items are coming from or where they have been stored!!
That is a scary situation......really wish more items could be made in the USA. I realize this could happen anywhere but seems less likely it would happen here. I wouldn't have bought the comforter either. I do most times find the reviews helpful though.

I too would have passed on the comforter but the bugs could have come from the box sitting outside etc....but I would not take the chance since I hate bugs and mice......ahhhh!

I agree Yucky, Icky is right! I don't think I would order it either. I would wait for more reviews to see if others found this to be true!

Since I never watch hsn I didn't miss anything.

I would seriously question a review that claimed the product , especially a non-food item, had bugs in it. Some reviewers have vivid imaginations or are just ignorant.
