Your Kind Words (my fall decorating slump)

I wrote a few weeks ago about not having decorated my home for fall yet because my Mom has been sick and back in the hospital. She will be getting out tomorrow, one day shy of being there three weeks. She can't be alone and will need extensive care. Our family has decided that it would be best if she moves in with us. I can be in my own home, with my family, as close to normal as possible, and still care for her. I'm skipping the fall decorating except for the real pumpkins I have outside and a few fall afghans and throw pillows that I got out. I'm going to concentrate on our Christmas decor and making our home a warm, cozy, wonderland for my Mom.

Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. My family and I will need them all and many more. This is a chapter in our lives that I never saw coming this soon.
