Words cannot express how much I hate this!!! Six month of preparing for Christmas is greedy and ridiculous. The first thing they did this morning was drag out that stupid game with the lights. Makes me wish we could just skip the whole holiday as they ruin it. I bet they're mostly getting rid of the garbage left over from last year at this point.

Great if you are starting in your first home and need decorations but those of us who have too many already it's a pass.

It's just ridiculous.

I was flipping through last night and saw that flash pad game on again - in new colors!!!

They had a completely decorated Christmas tree next to a window with green grass and trees.

I love Christmas, but this is just way too early for me...

I wonder sometimes if the hosts groan audibly when they see that they have to present that stupid game pad - AGAIN! At least I can change the channel when I see it, but they have to feign excitement and hysteria over that thing for what seems like hours on end. It seems like every Christmas show for the last ten years or so has featured (1) some version of the game pad, (2) an RC stunt car with flashing lights and (3) VPH's wreaths (PICK YOUR DELIVERY DATE!). I really wish they would have more variety in their offerings.

July 25th is plenty early to start promoting ""Christmas in July."" To be doing it already shows desperation.

Well, it's not called Christmas in August.
