Do you prefer when the built ins are the same color as the walls, or a contrasting color?

I prefer some contrast, but I really don't like that color palette. The yellow's more like a yellow-orange that's way too bright, especially early in the morning.

I prefer white, same color as the baseboards, window and door frames, or stained wood.

I decorate ONLY in colors that flatter me.   Eggyolk yellow isn't one of them.

I like these built-ins (design) but personally I would like contrast.

I love the color myself but I do wonder what it would look like in a contrasting color. I would love having all those built-ins! My accent wall is about that shade.

Not a fan of anything yellow. Big bird yellow or otherwise.

I love built ins.  Would definitely be a plus for me in any home purchase if done right.  I think I'd prefer a contrasting color.
