Okay, first let me state that if this is my biggest problem (which it unfortunately isn't) I would be doing okay.  I ordered one set each of H211025 ~ set of 2 birds nests by Valerie.  I ordered one set pink, one set blue.  I receive them today, one box marked pink, one marked blue.  Well, each box has a set of blue inside.  Hmmm.  Bummer.  QVC has of course made it right by telling me to send it back for a full refund which I greatly appreciate.  The reason I am posting this (other than to make myself feel better ~ REALLY bad day around here today) is I am curious to hear what all of you think of yours.  I notice the eggs are not of the best quality.  You can clearly see the little "circles" that indicate they are made of styrofoam and some of the eggs are not pieced together evenly.  Also, the nests are not very tighly woven (if that makes sense).  Disappointing.  I might send both sets back as I don't think it justifies over $50.00 for both sets.  Any thoughts?

@Julie928 As the prices continue to rise, I'm becoming very picky about what I order and what I keep.  If you don't love the nests, then return them.  $50 is a big chunk of cash to use on something you don't love.  BTW, I'm sorry that you didn't receive what you ordered.  I know that's frustrating.

I always like what VPH brings to Q yet as everything else the quality is "hit or miss" (who remembers how nice Temptations were and now☹️). I also find that I can find something equal or what I like in reg stores w/o the fees associated with ordering & returning. Big $$$ for inferior or something not to my liking.

 

[Case in point, I ordered the Copper Chef TSV because of raves reviews, etc. for a housewarming gift. She already had a version of it and certainly didn't need another - now I'm deciding whether to sell it at a yard sale OR lose $12.00 returning it. (I can't think of any other gift giving situation to use it.  I don't need it either.]

 

I think Q should 1) issue you a shipping label for wrong item & 2) a return free label for the iffy one.

They are really cute. Too bad one was wrong. Are you not able to salvage one set with the eggs between the two sets?  🐰🐇

@GCR18 ~ I was going to keep one set but after inspecting them I noticed tiny holes in some of the flower petals, as well as the eggs being glued together off-center.  I really wanted one set of each color to arrange in our bay window.  Not a big deal, just disappointing.  I just felt that the quality wasn't there for the cost.  I ordered three sets of the matching garland in pink ~ I just hope they actually send the pink.  I forgot to mention that pink is sold out in both the garland and the nests.  Oh well....

@Julie928  These are defects, and you can return them free of charge.  I returned a garland of Valerie's last year because leaves had holes and bits missing, not a lot, but enough to make it a defective item.
