Wow! HomeGoods and Christmas Tree Shoppes

[ Edited ]

Love my trips to NJ went shopping at both stores! Saw lots I wanted but was good because I really have enough Fall decor (I hate when my common sense takes over!) both stores have beautiful things at great prices!

We don't have these stores anywhere close to me in FL. Maybe that's a good thing!

Enjoying the Jersey shore perfect weather and sandy beaches...what could be better! Oh I know hearing "watch the tram car, please" -- brings back great memories of childhood of many wonderful summers in Wildwood Crest and on the boardwalk.

Now I get to do the same with life's most precious thing -- my 4 year old granddaughter!

Re: Wow! HomeGoods and Christmas Tree Shoppes

I am at the NJ shore right now.  I love it here for about a week, then I am happy to go back home.  We have a place at the lake and I love it even more than here.

There are many really nice stores for shopping, but I try to behave.  I have convinced myself that whatever I buy has to be something that can be used up....like candles or fudge from Douglas on the Wildwood boardwalk.  I plan to do a Douglas Fudge run tomorrow night for goodies to take home to friends and family.  I bought and ate a molasses paddle last night.  I am a chocolate addict, I admit it.

I hope you had a great time here.  Watch the tram car please!

Douglas Fudge and James Salt Water Taffy! I'm going to make a take home run there before I leave -- I bring these wonderful goodies back to friends in FL

I indulged in my favorite fudge and red candy apple and can't tell you (it's sinful but among friend so Ok--how many slices of "tomato pie" and sausage & peppers & onions sandwiches I ate this week! No place compares to "boardwalk food"!

i think my GD is the official cotton candy tester! Enjoy your vacation and safe travels home!

Re: Wow! HomeGoods and Christmas Tree Shoppes

Where do you live in FL that does not have Home Goods? There are several in SE, SW and Central FL.

In fact, there is a new store opening in my town on Sunday at 8 a.m.! Guess what I am doing!

I love the Christmas Tree Shops and I think I have been to almost all of them on Cape Cod. I have been to the flagship store in Hyannis many, many times!

I recently looked up where they had stores and there is now one in the Orlando area.

There is a Christmas Tree Shop near Orlando and I've been there several times, Love it! It's located in Altamonte Springs FL just past Orlando.

I live near Trinity, FL and closest one would be Clearwater to my knowledge (1 hr away). I visit in Orlando a good friend so may check out Christmas  Tree Shoppe over there.
